Children and teenagers standing together in the sanctuary

For families

Your kids are welcome here

Bringing children somewhere new is a lot. Here is exactly what happens on a Sunday morning, so nothing catches you off guard.

On a Sunday

Sunday mornings, by age

Children join their groups during the 10:45 am service. Sunday School meets for every age beforehand at 9:30 am.

  • Nursery

    Babies & toddlers

A quiet, staffed space for our youngest, so parents can worship knowing they are cared for.

  • Preschool

    3 – 5 years

Songs, stories, and play that introduce the big truths of the Bible in a way small children can hold on to.

  • Elementary

    Kindergarten – 5th grade

The same message as the main service, taught at their level, with games, crafts, and plenty of questions.

  • Youth

    6th – 12th grade

Teaching, discussion, and friendship for teenagers working out what faith looks like for themselves.

Our promises

Looked after, every single week

  • We will know your child’s name, and they will know ours.

  • We will never release your child to anyone without a matching tag.

  • We will teach the Bible honestly, at a level they can understand.

  • We will come and find you if your child needs you.

Before you come

Questions parents ask

Where do I take my children when I arrive?

Come in through the main entrance and a greeter will walk you to check-in. On your first visit, arriving ten minutes early gives you time to get everyone settled without rushing.

How does check-in work?

You will sign your child in and receive a matching tag. Only an adult with the matching tag can collect them at the end of the service.

Are the volunteers vetted?

Everyone serving with children is a known member of the church and is background-checked before they serve.

What if my child will not settle?

That is completely normal, especially on a first visit. You are welcome to stay with them for as long as you need, and nobody will mind at all if you slip out of the service.

Can my child stay with me instead?

Absolutely. Children are always welcome in the main service. There is no expectation either way.

What should they bring?

Nothing at all — everything is provided. For the nursery, a labelled bag with anything your baby needs is helpful.

No question is too small

Ask us anything before you come

If there is something you need to know about your child before Sunday, ask — we would far rather answer it now than have you wondering on the day.

The office is not always staffed, so a message is often the fastest way to reach someone.
